About OLAF
Justice for All
America's Pledge and Obligation
Justice for All is an on-going fund raising program conducted by the Ohio Legal Assistance Foundation (OLAF). The goal is to provide access to justice for those in serious need.
Situations that require legal assistance arise daily. All around us. Domestic abuse, unscrupulous landlords, unresponsive bureaucracies, child custody conflicts, potential loss of disability benefits or nursing home care. These are just some of the legal challenges facing the poor that receive little, if any, legal attention.
In human terms, these "legal challenges" affect the core areas of life: food, shelter, health care and family relations.
Federal funds distributed to Ohio's legal aid societies are being cut severely. Legal aid societies, and thousands of attorneys who donate a portion of their time to offer free legal services to the poor, cannot provide the necessary legal services to meet people's needs without additional resources.
Attorneys, Law Firms and Judges
The legal community has been, and will continue to be, the strongest supporter of America's Pledge.
The Justice For All Campaign was originally launched by a 75-member Cabinet from throughout Ohio. These distinguished members of the bar initiated the campaign with their financial contributions and leadership.
Hundreds of Ohio attorneys and judges followed their lead by contributing to the Campaign. Many have become either Partners For Justice or Senior Partners For Justice, depending on the level of their annual donation.
OLAF Board Member Dick Pogue accepts a plaque from former OLAF Board President Tom Chema. Pogue was the first Senior Partner contributor to the Justice For All development campaign.

We must remember that the Pledge is much more than a memorized verse we routinely recite before meetings and events. Justice For All is America's Obligation. Please help OLAF help Ohio meet this obligation through your generous contribution.
