IOLTA/IOTA
IOLTA and IOTA Presentations
Foundation staff are available to present to your organization the various
aspects of the Interest on Lawyers' Trust Accounts (IOLTA) and Interest on Trust
Accounts (IOTA) Program. In addition to a live presentation, each participant
receives a copy of the
presentation
outline (Adobe Reader format) and a
packet of relevant statutes and rules (Adobe Reader format). If audio-visual
equipment is available, OLAF staff will also use a
PowerPoint presentation (Adobe Reader format) to complement the live
presentation. Also view a presentation developed for the Ohio State Bar Association's
New Lawyer Training titled: Ten Things New Attorneys Need to
Know About Client Trust Accounts
OLAF staff is currently scheduling presentations for 2004. If your organization
is interested in sponsoring a event, the please contact Jeffrey Fortkamp,
Associate Director with the Foundation, at (800) 877-9772. Presentations may be available for
Continuing Legal
Education (CLE) credits with the Supreme Court of Ohio or other accrediting
body.
The presenter for most presentations will be Jeffrey Fortkamp, Associate Director with the Foundation.
