Pro Bono Support
The Ohio Legal Assistance Foundation's pro bono mission is three-fold:
First, the Foundation provides a statewide leadership role in seeking to increase pro bono participation in the delivery of civil legal services to the poor and disadvantaged.
Second, the Foundation is a catalyst and source of support for the development of new statewide and local pro bono initiatives.
Third, the Foundation works to increase the capacity of existing programs, including legal aid societies and bar associations, to more efficiently and effectively engage volunteers.
OLAF pro bono staff works with legal aid pro bono staff and bar associations to support the involvement of the private bar in providing free, civil legal services to low-income and disadvantages Ohioans.
